Vocabulary for Paradox Questions
***Discrepancy*** means *inconsistency, contradiction* or *difference*.

***To reconcile*** means to resolve, to settle, to bring back to harmony. It is the opposite of creating a discrepancy.

In GMAT Critical Reasoning questions, you are likely to see both **discrepancy** and **reconcile**, specifically in a Critical Reasoning question type called Paradox Questions.
