Reading Comprehension: Structure Questions

To which Reading Comprehension question type does the following question stem belong?

"Which of the following best describes the relation of the first paragraph to the passage as a whole?"

Main Idea questions usually include a word that stresses the fact that they ask about the entire passage (rather than about the relations between paragraphs or between a certain paragraph and the passage as a whole), such as primarily, chiefly or mainly.

Inference questions are specific, asking about a piece of information rather than on an entire paragraph or the entire passage.

Application questions are about applying information to a context outside the passage itself.
